Meet your Playground hosts, Adrienne Adhami and David Savage
In under three weeks, a room full of people who earn across several streams of work will spend the day together at The Old Palace, Hatfield House, and Adrienne Adhami and David Savage will be hosting it.
Adrienne is a wellness expert, brand strategist and writer who has worked with global brands including Range Rover and Virgin Atlantic. She hosts the Modern Wellness Podcast, has written two books and has been featured in British Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and SheerLuxe, so her own working life already looks a lot like a Pholyo.
David is Harvey Nash's Group Technology Evangelist and the voice behind Tech Talks, which has published more than 1,000 episodes since 2015 and regularly appears in Apple's technology podcast charts. He's also a film-maker, with seven Tech Flix documentaries screened at tech festivals around the world, and an experienced chair who has hosted stages at Web Summit, SXSW London and London Tech Week.
With them, you'll spend the day on visibility with Laura Fox and on landing your first board role with Erevena's Maria Josife. You'll watch Nurole record Enter the Boardroom live, and you'll hear Mark Evans and Jimmy McLoughlin talk honestly about building a working life on your own terms. Every ticket also includes a free legal clinic with our headline sponsor, Pillsbury Law, a professional headshot and lunch together, and it now comes with 50% off for a friend.
This week in IMAGE.ie, career coach Sorcha Keogh argued that a portfolio career can be a deliberate choice for women. On her account, building a working life from several roles and income streams offers more flexibility and more financial resilience than relying on a single employer, even if it brings its own admin and juggling.
It's a thesis we share, and it applies to every multi-income earner. When your income comes from several places, seeing the whole picture becomes the hard part, and that's what mapping your Pholyo is for.
June at Blue Earth Summit, the AllBright Tide Everywoman Awards and The Roof Gardens
"These are the weeks I love the most. Where all parts of my talent arsenal get to shine. Sharing knowledge with fellow founders about what it takes to craft the perfect cap table, helping founders with their raise, troubleshooting with our engineer on the product build, Judging and giving feedback to entrepreneurs at The Allbright and wrapping it up in style being interviewed by Dolly Jones, former Editor of Vogue at The Roof Gardens"

Catch you next week,
June and the MyPholyo team

A note from June Someone said something to me this week that stayed with me. He has a 9-to-5 and several businesses. Yet when it came to his mortgage, the picture of what he earned was still built around his salary. There was more to his financial life than his payslip could show. It made me realise we haven’t explained clearly enough why we’re asking you to map your Pholyo. You might have a job and a business on the side. Several consulting clients. Paid speaking alongside advisory work....
